About this tour

Lacco Ameno is the smallest town on the island of Ischia. The mild climate allows it to be an ideal destination during the summer season but also during the winter period.

Angelo Rizzoli, called “Angelone”, Italian film and television producer was the first to bring modern tourism to the island by founding the first luxury hotel, the Regina Isabella.

The tour includes a visit to the Church of Santa Restituta and al Archaeological Museum of Pithecusae. Santa Restituta is the patron saint of the island. The basement of the church hides the foundations of an ancient cathedral of early Christian times, where the Greeks made their first settlement. We then move on to the visit of the museum, rich in archaeological remains of the people who lived here. You can retrace step by step the history of the island, from prehistory to the Roman age.

Your guide for this tour is Nina

Tourist guide for about 20 years, Nina has always told the beauties, traditions, culture, history and legends of Naples and its surroundings, working with tourists from all over the world.
