From the moment he discovers he has this gift, young Louis Alfredo, devotes himself completely to his work, solving the mysteries surrounding the murders committed in the city of <strong>Naples<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_vita_privata_di_Ricciardi\"><\/span>Ricciardi's private life<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In each of the six episodes of the first season, the <strong>commissioner Ricciardi<\/strong> and Brigadier Maione try to solve the mystery concerning a murder. Over the course of the series, however, many characters in the private life of the <strong>commissioner<\/strong>, though few, as his curse or \"the Fact\" as he calls it, leads him to be very closed.<\/p>\n<p>Worth mentioning is the grandiose <strong>Nunzia Schiano<\/strong>, who plays the role of Rosa, housekeeper of the <strong>commissioner<\/strong>, who has been caring for him and his home since he lost his mother as a young man and going so far as to play a real role as a <strong>foster mother<\/strong>. In <strong>Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi<\/strong> is located the home of the <strong>commissioner<\/strong>, near the Stella neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>From his palace the young <strong>commissioner Ricciardi<\/strong>, frequently has an exchange of glances with neighbor Enrica, played by <strong>Maria Vera Ratti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Another, somewhat deeper friendship woven by <strong>Ricciardi<\/strong> is the one with Livia Lucani, widow Vezzi, played by <strong>Serena Iansiti<\/strong>, and met in the very first episode of the series. The wealthy widow Vezzi has a lavish mansion on Via Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, right in the center of the city of <strong>Naples<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"I_colleghi_del_commissario\"><\/span>The commissioner's colleagues<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Because of his extremely reserved manner, <strong>Ricciardi<\/strong> surrounds himself with a few people, whom he trusts. The colleague who supports him in investigating the murders is Brigadier Raffaele Maione, played by <strong>Antonio Milo<\/strong>. The latter lives with his family in Vico Concordia, near the <strong>Spanish Neighborhoods<\/strong>. Often and often during the series there are small interludes concerning him and his large family, troubled by the disappearance of his firstborn son.<\/p>\n<p>Another character who falls within the close circle of friendships of the <strong>commissioner<\/strong>, is Dr. Bruno Modo, played by <strong>Enrico Ianniello<\/strong> and always called by the <strong>commissioner<\/strong> for autopsies. The doctor from the outset reveals himself to be an anti-fascist, openly criticizing the regime, with the hope of living in a better society. His home is located near <strong>New Jesus Square<\/strong>, in the historic center of <strong>Naples<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When the <strong>commissioner<\/strong> is not busy at the crime scenes or around the city, the office where he works is the <strong>Naples Police Headquarters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"In_giro_per_la_citta_di_Napoli_con_il_commissario_Ricciardi\"><\/span>Touring the city of Naples with Commissioner Ricciardi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The magical if melancholic <strong>soundtrack<\/strong> of the series, \"May Goes Away,\" sung by the beloved <strong>Pino Daniele<\/strong> accompanies the loner's walks <strong>commissioner Ricciardi<\/strong>. You, on the other hand, let the melody of the streets of <strong>Naples<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The route we propose is according to the location of the places, which in this case are all nearby. Undoubtedly, there are a variety of places filmed in the series including the <strong>Museum and Royal Woods of Capodimonte<\/strong>, the <strong>Sannazzaro Theater<\/strong> at <strong>Vomero<\/strong>, <strong>Villa Pignatelli<\/strong> at <strong>Chiaia Riviera<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>Bourbon Palace of Portici<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Starting on foot from <strong>Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi<\/strong>, in the Stella district of <strong>Naples<\/strong>, where the <strong>commissioner<\/strong>, one must proceed south toward Vico Santa Maria della Purit\u00e0, and then continue on Via Enrico Pessina and turn toward <strong>Dante Square<\/strong>, where you can admire the statue dedicated precisely to the supreme poet <strong>Dante Alighieri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>One must then proceed to <strong>Toledo Street<\/strong>, one of the most famous streets in <strong>Naples<\/strong> not only for shopping but also for typical sights and centuries-old stores.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of <strong>Toledo Street<\/strong>, you can turn left and take St. James Street, and then turn right and arrive at <strong>Town Hall Square<\/strong>, where the <strong>Naples Police Headquarters<\/strong>, a place, therefore, where the daily work of <strong>Ricciardi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can continue along <strong>Toledo Street<\/strong>, to reach as far as <strong>Trieste and Trento Square<\/strong>. On the right you will find the very famous <strong>Gambrinus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Are you a lover of the series? Then a stop at this historic bar in <strong>Naples<\/strong>, since precisely the <strong>commissioner Ricciardi<\/strong> often frequents this place, either alone or with colleagues, in order to enjoy coffee and sfogliatella. This ancient caf\u00e9 is also known for the remote Neapolitan tradition of the <strong>suspended coffee<\/strong>, which consists of paying for a coffee to an unknown recipient who cannot afford it.<\/p>\n<p>In front of the <strong>Gambrinus<\/strong>, then to the left of <strong>Trieste and Trento Square<\/strong>, there is the <strong>San Carlo Theater<\/strong>, the oldest opera house in .<strong>Europe<\/strong> and still functioning today. It can also be visited with a guide who will tell the history and interesting facts regarding the <strong>Theater<\/strong>. Restoration work on the facade has also recently been completed, as a result it can be admired in all its glory.<\/p>\n<p>We also remind you that the <strong>San Carlo Theater<\/strong> was a place filmed very often in the series, and especially was the setting for the first murder in the series. However, in order to shoot some scenes, part of the interior of the <strong>Theater<\/strong> was recreated at the former NATO base in Bagnoli.<\/p>\n<p>Another place taken up in the series is the Church of St. Ferdinand, which is located just before <strong>Trieste and Trento Square<\/strong>, on the left.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeding southward, then going beyond the <strong>Gambrinus<\/strong>, you will find yourself in the middle of <strong>Plebiscite Square<\/strong>, a symbolic place of this wonderful series.<\/p>\n<p>So what are you waiting for?
