It is said that in this place, a miracle happens every year!  It is about the <strong>Shrine of San Gennaro<\/strong> where the stone called \"San Gennaro's\" is kept where the saint was apparently beheaded. This, in the days leading up to September 19, the day on which the <a href=\"https:\/\/movery.it\/en\/napoli-san-gennaro\/\">Feast of San Gennaro<\/a> in Naples, miraculously changes color by becoming redder. Outside the walls of the church, then, lies a wonderful panorama overlooking the harbor dotted with swaying little boats.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another interesting site to experience only if armed with imagination is the <strong>Antoninus Pius Stadium<\/strong>. In this vast space, the emperor organized gymnastic and musical games called <strong>Eusebeia<\/strong><em>. <\/em>Although the appearance is that of an ordinary archaeological site, with a bit of imagination, one can imagine the performances of ancient Roman athletes and musicians.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we propose a truly evocative place. In the archaeological complex of the Excavations of Cumae you can access the<strong>Sybil's Cavern<\/strong>. A long gallery illuminated by the light of lighthouses that create the perfect atmosphere to tell of the ancient prophetess. Myths and legends have been passed down about this real-life figure. Entering and walking through this gallery, which is said to have been the home of one of these incredible women, one can well understand why. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Luoghi_naturali_davvero_fenomenali\"><\/span>Really phenomenal natural places\u00a0<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In a beautiful <strong>walk <\/strong>near the port of Pozzuoli, one suddenly comes across an open-air archaeological site. The <strong>Temple of Serapis<\/strong> is an ancient and surprising Roman marketplace of archaeological and scientific interest. The building features several spaces where the life of our ancient predecessors took place: a vast courtyard with the remains of stores and a mysterious shrine dedicated to the worship of deities who were protectors of the city's fortunes and trade.<\/p>\n<p>What draws attention to the site, however, are peculiar little holes that adorn the entire surface of the courtyard's columns: probably the dwellings of valuable mollusks, called dates, indicating that the site was submerged by sea waters and making the Temple of Serapis a symbol of the phenomena of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/movery.it\/en\/bradisismo-rione-terra\/\">Bradyseism<\/a> affecting the area.<\/p>\n<p>Bradyseism is a phenomenon related to the volcanic nature of the Phlegraean Fields area that is also the cause of the formation of fascinating natural sites that arise right in Pozzuoli. L'<strong>Mount New Nature Oasis<\/strong> rises on a mountain that was formed in just three days. Imagining the roar and motions that accompanied the mountain's birth is just the beginning of a relaxing walk immersed in the <strong>nature<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meravigliosi_siti_per_giocare_allaperto\"><\/span>Wonderful sites for outdoor play<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>However, there are also completely open-air areas in Pozzuoli dedicated to the pure enjoyment of the little ones. Around the <strong>Lake Avernus<\/strong>, for example, in addition to a beautiful walk accompanied by the presence of countless ducks that inhabit the waters of the lake and to which children love to throw bread, there are also equipped areas where they can <strong>play outdoors<\/strong>. Also in Pozzuoli, there is a small urban park, recently reopened to the public: the\u00a0<strong>Old Vineyard Street Urban Park<\/strong>.
