Potrai fare l’escursione a piedi intorno alle 18:00 e conoscere il cuore della cultura e delle tradizioni napoletane. La passeggiata prende il via da Dante Square, dove si può osservare il Convitto Nazionale. Da qui ti sposterai verso Port’Alba, per poi raggiungere Piazza Bellini.

Quindi camminerai verso Via dei Tribunali e avrai modo di vedere la Chiesa delle Anime del Purgatorio, famosa per accogliere la cripta sotterranea che accoglie le “capuzzelle”, cioè i resti di teschi umani intorno a cui è poi sorto il culto delle anime pezzentelle.

Il tour continua poi in direzione di Via San Gregorio Armeno, la strada famosa per i presepi e i pastori. Attraverserai poi Spaccanapoli e ci sarà una sosta presso il Monastery of St. Clare per ammirare il suo fantastico chiostro. Per finire, giungerai a Piazza del Gesù Nuovo.

How to reach Naples by car:

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Garibaldi and continue on Via Rosaroll. After 800 meters turn left onto Via Foria. After 300 meters enter Piazza Cavour. At 400 meters there is Porta San Gennaro.

How to reach Naples by public transportation:

From Piazza Garibaldi central station, take the Metro Line 1 and get off at the Duomo stop. Continue walking on Corso Umberto I and turn right onto Via Eletto Starace. Follow Via Ferri Vecchi and turn left onto Via de Blasiis. On the right take Via del Grande Archivio and Vico Nuovo a Librai. Finally, turn left onto Via San Biagio dei Librai and Via San Gregorio Armeno.
