Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience aboard a boat that will take you to discover the most striking and hidden views of the Posillipo coastline. A tour of approximately 50 minutes, perfect for those who want to experience the sea of Naples from an exclusive viewpoint and admire places that hold unique stories, legends and natural beauty.

While sailing you can choose between two itineraries, both of which are full of charm:

East side

From the eastern side, it offers a varied view of nature, architecture and picturesque views. It starts from Marechiaro, with its tranquil atmosphere and bright colors of seaside houses, and then admire Villa Emma, immersed in greenery and surrounded by elegant gardens. Continuing on, you cross the Southern Italy Park, an oasis of lush vegetation that provides coolness and picturesque views, until you reach the Presidential Villa, a symbol of prestige and architectural refinement. Along the coastline one encounters the Salt Stone Rock, fascinating rock formation emerging from the sea, and then Giuseppone with Villa Volpicelli, a collection of historic buildings that tell the story of aristocratic life in the area. The route concludes with Villa Lauro, where, if possible, it will be a unique experience to taste thespring water, fresh and pure, directly from the natural spring, completing an itinerary that combines history, nature and local curiosities.

West side

From the western side, the gaze sweeps over a panorama dotted with natural and architectural gems. One can admire Marechiaro, famous for its picturesque cove and brightly colored houses overlooking the sea, and the mysterious Palace of Spirits, shrouded in legends and ancient charm. Continuing on, we catch a glimpse of the majestic Villa Pausillipon, surrounded by green gardens overlooking the gulf, while the striking Gaiola captures with its crystal clear waters and submerged archaeological remains. The Tubs of Virgil, small natural pools carved into the rock, offer glimpses of rare beauty, and further north opens the quiet Trentaremi Bay, a silent refuge between sea and rocks. The coast continues with the Badessa Cove, intimate and secluded, and the island of Nisida, which emerges as a green jewel in the Bay of Naples. Finally, the mysterious Coppino Cave, a natural cavity that invites discovery, completing a panorama in which nature, history and myth come together harmoniously.

Making the tour even more special will be the presence of a qualified tour guide, who will accompany you with stories, anecdotes and trivia about the history, culture and legends of these enchanting places.

The tour takes place every Saturday and Sunday, but we are also happy to organize it on weekdays for private groups or groups who wish to have this exclusive experience.

Tour information

  • The tour runs on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter season, with departures every 50 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • A minimum number of 4 participants is required for weekend shared tours

  • Only small animals are allowed on board, with leash and muzzle

  • Experience includes professional guide, skipper and boat tour

  • The tour includes two possible routes - East side or West side - which will be chosen by the skipper at the time, taking into account participants' preferences and weather conditions

Cancellation

  • Cancellation can be made up to 24 hours before the date and time of the reservation with a surcharge of 55 euros

  • Cancellation without loss of deposit must be made within 15 days prior to the tour. Otherwise, it will not be considered valid

    How to get there

    How to reach the meeting point by car

    From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Umberto I and Via Depretis towards Piazza Municipio. Take Via Acton, the Tunnel of Victory, Via Caracciolo, Viale Dohrn and Viale Gramsci towards Via Mergellina. Follow Via Mergellina to the entrance of Via Posillipo. To get to Marechiaro from Piazza Garibaldi reach Mergellina and continue along Via Posillipo for 3 km until you enter Via Marechiaro.

    How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

    From Piazza Garibaldi take subway line 2 and get off at the Mergellina stop. From here, walk to Piazza Sannazzaro and take Via Mergellina. Those who prefer Marechiaro as a meeting point should take bus 151 and get off at the Bruno-Sannazzaro stop. From here take bus 140 and get off at the Santo Strato-Boccaccio stop. Continue walking on Via Posillipo-Via Santo Strato toward Via Ricciardi and Via Alfano Primo to arrive at Via Marechiaro.
