To reach Polignano a Mare from Piazza Garibaldi, Naples, by public transportation, there are several travel options. One option is to take a Frecciarossa or Intercity train from Naples Centrale station to Bari Centrale, with a travel time of about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Once in Bari, you can continue with a Trenitalia regional train to Polignano a Mare, with a journey time of about 30 minutes. Alternatively, there are long-distance bus services, such as FlixBus, that connect Naples directly to Polignano a Mare with a journey of about 4 hours and 10 minutes. For a combined alternative, you can travel with Italo to Bari or a nearby city and then continue with a local bus or regional train. It is advisable to check schedules and book tickets in advance, especially during peak seasons

How to reach the meeting point by car

The recommended route to reach Polignano a Mare from Piazza Garibaldi, Naples, takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes for a total of 300 km. It starts by taking the A3/E45 towards Salerno/Reggio Calabria, and then, after about 20 km, take the exit for the A16/E842 towards Bari/Avellino. You then continue on the A16 for about 160 km to the Canosa exit, where you follow the signs for the A14/E55 toward Bari. Once on the A14, continue for another 80 km to the Conversano/Monopoli Nord/Polignano a Mare exit. Finally, you take the SS16 and follow the signs for Polignano a Mare, driving the last 10 km
