About this activity

The Phlegrean coastline is one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of Campania, and to explore it, there is nothing better than one of the boat excursions. Whether with friends or family, this private tour is an ideal choice for carving out leisure time and admiring a wonderful coastline with crystal-clear waters.

The sea trip kicks off in the morning from the port of Marechiaro and you will be accompanied by a professional skipper who will show you all the sights visible along the way. In fact, you will be able to see Gaiola Island, Miseno Mountain, Nisida Island and the beautiful Virgiliano Park. Instead in the area of Bacoli you'll get to see the Punta Pennata beach, the Green Beach and the Schiachetiello beach, known for its tuff rocks.

During the activity you will also see the coastline of Baia and its magnificent Aragonese Castle, which now houses the Campi Flegrei Archaeological Museum. In addition, there will be time to see Pozzuoli and the rione Terra and you will be treated to a small aperitif on board. Once the excursion is completed, you will return to Marechiaro.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Umberto I and Via Depretis towards Piazza Municipio. Take Via Acton, the Tunnel of Victory, Via Caracciolo, Viale Dohrn and Viale Gramsci towards Via Mergellina. Follow Via Mergellina to the entrance of Via Posillipo. To get to Marechiaro from Piazza Garibaldi reach Mergellina and continue along Via Posillipo for 3 km until you enter Via Marechiaro.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi take subway line 2 and get off at the Mergellina stop. From here, walk to Piazza Sannazzaro and take Via Mergellina. Those who prefer Marechiaro as a meeting point should take bus 151 and get off at the Bruno-Sannazzaro stop. From here take bus 140 and get off at the Santo Strato-Boccaccio stop. Continue walking on Via Posillipo-Via Santo Strato toward Via Ricciardi and Via Alfano Primo to arrive at Via Marechiaro.
