About this tour

To capture the truest and most authentic essence of the Amalfi Coast there is no better experience than this boat excursion to Maiori. This is a unique and unforgettable activity that will allow you to see one of the most fascinating corners of Campania. The tour departs at 10:00 in the morning from Molo Manfredi, the tourist port of Salerno.
Once you set sail, you will sail towards the Amalfi Coast and you will reach the village of Maiori, one of the main tourist locations in the area. The town has Etruscan origins and during the Middle Ages it was an integral part of the possessions of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi. After the Second World War, Maiori experienced evident urban and tourist development, becoming one of the most loved destinations by visitors who flock to the coast.
Once you arrive at the port of Maiori you will have two hours of free time to explore the Amendola seafront which runs parallel to the beach for over a kilometre, connecting the ancient defensive towers scattered along the coast of the area.
Alternatively, you can choose to travel the Lemon Trail with a guide. It is one of the most beautiful hiking routes in Italy and consists of a series of steps that cross the hamlet of Torre and continue along the ridge connecting Maiori and Minori.
The approximately 3 kilometer journey is quite easy and will take a couple of hours to complete. Finally, you will return to the boat, where you will be offered a aperitif with prosecco and appetizers.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi in Naples take Corso Lucci and Via Ferraris to take the A3. Continue for 45 km and take the exit for Vietri sul Mare. Then continue on SS163 and SS18 Tirrena Inferiore. After 800 meters turn into Via Gatto, Via Ligea and Via Porto. After 500 meters turn into Via Molo Manfredi.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Naples central station, take the regional train to Reggio Calabria and get off at Salerno station. Continue on foot towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Via Barrella. Here take bus 004 and get off at the Teatro Verdi stop. Finally, continue on foot along Via Lista, Piazza Umberto I, Via Centola and Largo Parri. Finally, turn right onto Via Molo Manfredi.
