Messina

Messina is a city in Sicily located on the northeastern tip of the island, overlooking the Strait that separates it from Calabria. The city holds important monuments such as the Cathedral of Messina, famous for its astronomical clock, one of the largest and most complex in the world. Repeatedly rebuilt after earthquakes and bombings, Messina today is a vibrant cultural and university center, with a scenic waterfront that offers splendid views of the Strait of Messina.

I booked through Movery the sea tour outside in the private mode. I specifically chose this mode because we were already a nice little group and preferred to experience it on our own.
