About this tour

Feel like visiting the island of Capri, but you're not in Naples? No problem! With Movery you can experience a fantastic excursion departing from Rome. You will take a special trip from the capital to the island of love to admire the natural and other wonders of one of the most glamorous places in the world.

Thanks to this full day experience you can deepen your knowledge of the island and enjoy its beautiful crystal clear waters. The tour from Rome starts in the morning from the Termini Station, where you will take a high-speed train to Naples Central Station. You will receive your train tickets before departure, but you will have to go to the station yourself.

Once you arrive at the Naples station, you will be met by your driver who will take you to the port. Here you will proceed to embarkation to reach Capri and during the crossing you can admire the magnificence of the Gulf of Naples and its views. Tour guides will tell you legends and anecdotes to fully immerse you in the island's history.

Upon arriving at the port of Capri, a guided walking tour together with guides, with whom you will go on a tour to discover the most striking places, including the famous Piazzetta and the Gardens of Augustus. There will be room for a stroll among the local craft stores, where you can buy some souvenirs. After tasting a nice limoncello you will walk toward Anacapri and to observe the island from above, we recommend taking the chairlift to the Mount Solaro.

In the afternoon, however, you can choose whether to continue the land tour to Capri on your own or to make in boat ride to see the coast from a unique perspective. By sea you will be able to admire various sea caves such as Grotta Verde, Grotta Meravigliosa and Grotta Bianca, and from a distance you will spot Curzio Malaparte's Villa and the Faraglioni rocks.

Those who decide to stay ashore can sample local delicacies by dining at one of the caprese restaurants. When the experience is over, you will return to the port of Naples and from there you will be escorted back to the station to return to Rome.
