Discover two of the most fascinating and iconic places in Southern Italy: Alberobello and Matera. This excursion will take you to discover the trulli of Alberobello and the Sassi of Matera, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Upon arrival in Alberobello you will explore the enchanted world of trulli, the typical dry-stone conical dwellings. You will visit the Mother Church of Saints Doctors Cosmas and Damian, with neoclassical grandeur, and you will immerse yourself in the magic of the Rione Aia Piccola, dotted with numerous trulli that are still inhabited. You will also enjoy panoramic views from the Belvedere di Santa Lucia and stroll among the artisan stores of the Rione Monti, where tradition and local crafts meet. A choice is provided: guided tour of about 2 hours with a licensed guide who will tell stories and trivia about the trulli, followed by free time, or an independent exploration lasting about 3 hours.
In the afternoon we move to Matera, the famous "city of the Sassi." a place where history is carved in rock. Once you arrive in the historic center, you will have about 4 hours to explore the rocky labyrinth of the Sassi: the districts of Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso, the Cathedral, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, ancient rock churches and houses carved into the stone. Here, too, you can choose between a guided tour (including entrance to a rock church and cave house) or independent exploration.
The tour includes round-trip transportation in a modern and comfortable minivan, departing from Bari and returning on the same day. During the trip, you will be accompanied by professional tour assistance, available for any needs and to ensure a pleasant and stress-free experience.

The tour starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. at the Castle in Matera and you will leave for Bari, arriving at Largo degli Eroi around 7:30 p.m. It takes place on Tuesdays. Fridays and Sundays
