About this tour

Would you like to have a different experience together with family or friends? With this group tours in Ostuni, Locorotondo and Polignano a Mare you can experience the true essence of Apulian culture and traditions.
The day starts in the morning in Bari, where you will be picked up at some meeting points. You will then depart to the first stop: Ostuni. You will take a one-and-a-half-hour walk in the "white town," so named for the white lime houses. Here you will also have the opportunity to take a tasting of extra virgin olive oil.
Next, you will move in the direction of Locorotondo, a small village in the province of Bari. You'll take a walk of about an hour in this beautiful town known for its good food, craft stores and wonderful Baroque buildings.
Finally, you'll get to Polignano a Mare, where you will have two hours of free time to move around freely. You will be able to admire the historic center and the famous beach of Monachile Blade or you can indulge in a lunch with a panoramic view on one of several terraces overlooking the sea. When the experience is over, you will return to Bari and be driven back to the morning meeting point.

    How to get there

    How to reach the meeting point by car

    Depart Piazza Garibaldi, Naples, and head toward Via Galileo Ferraris, following the signs for the highway. Take the A3, Napoli-Salerno highway heading east. Get on the A16/E842. After about 40 km, follow the signs for A16/E842 toward Bari/Avellino. Continue on the A16 for about 150 km. Take the A14/E55. Take the Bari Nord exit and follow signs to the city center. Follow the signs to the historic center of Bari and to the Basilica of San Nicola, located at Largo Abate Elia.

    How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

    From Piazza Garibaldi in Napoli Centrale, take a direct Frecciargento or Frecciarossa train from Napoli Centrale to Bari Centrale. Upon exiting the station, you can take **bus No. 2** or bus No. 12 in the direction of Bari Vecchia. Get off at the stop near the historic center. Walk for about 10-15 minutes to Largo Abate Elias where the Basilica of St. Nicholas is located.
