The tour meeting point is at Bar Pelagus in Torre Vado (Morciano di Leuca) half an hour before departure
Departure is planned from the port of Torre Vado by 12-seater boat with 300-hp engine
Departure in low season (June, September and October) is scheduled at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Departure in high season (July and August) is scheduled at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The tour includes bathroom stops
The Salento aperitif includes braided bread with olives and chili peppers, bread with typical vegetables, mozzarella cherries, peach tea, water, and prosecco di Valdobbiadene. In some cases, fishing is done from the boat and tartare is eaten on board

However, the departure will be from the port of Torre Vado, a hamlet of the municipality of Morciano di Leuca. In particular, on the Ionian side of Marina di San Gregorio, a hamlet of Patù, you will see 10 caves, including Grotta del drago, Grotta degli Innamorati, Grotta della Stalla, Grotta del Presepe, Grotta dei Giganti, Grotta delle Tre Porte, Grotte del Fiume, Grotta di Mesciu Scianni, and Grotta del Diavolo.

In addition, along the way there will be room for three bathroom stops, thanks to which you can refresh yourself in the shining, crystal-clear Apulian waters. Then you will be treated to an aperitif of Salento products such as treccine with olives and chili peppers, mozzarella cherries, bread with vegetables, water, peach tea and prosecco di Valdobbiadene.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Lucci and Via Ferraris to enter the A3. After 3 km take the exit for A1/E55 and enter A16/E842. Continue for 165 km and take the exit for A14/E55 toward Bari. Then continue on E55 for another 45 km and take the exit for Bari Centro/Brindisi/Lecce. Then enter SS16 for 115 km and exit at Brindisi/La Rosa. Take SS613, SS694 and SS101 for 35 km. Advance on the Salentina Meridionale for another 34 km and turn at the exit for Morciano. After 3 km turn onto SP190 and continue straight ahead to Corso Venezia.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From the central station in Piazza Garibaldi take the bus to Bari. From Bari central station take the high-speed train to Lecce. From the station move to Viale Gallipoli to take bus 108 toward Morciano. Get off at the Residence Cala Saracena stop and walk down Corso Venezia.
