Located about 20 km from Polignano a Mare, the Castellana Caves represent one of the most fascinating karst complexes in Italy. During the guided tour, you will walk about 3 km among stalactites, stalagmites and spectacular limestone formations, including the famous "Grotta Bianca," renowned for its luminosity and alabaster formations.
After the underground exploration, the tour continues to Polignano a Mare, a picturesque town overlooking the Adriatic Sea. You'll have free time to wander its narrow streets, admire the white houses perched on the cliffs and enjoy local specialties at one of the many typical restaurants.
