This experience is designed for those who love the nature and already has a minimum of practice in drawing and painting. Our point of observation will be. under the imposing Abbey of the Holy Trinity in Cava de' Tirreni, at the foot of the Lattari Mountains, from which we will begin our experience en plein air.
Guided by a master of art, in about an hour and a half we will sketch a perspective view with fat pencils on paper, preparatory draft for decoration on a majolica tile 20×20 cm, which we will implement in the afternoon.
The experience starts at 10:00 a.m., then at 11:30 a.m. we will take a break: guests can choose whether to Have a snack or packed breakfast in the beautiful natural setting of the trails, or head to the historical center of Cava de 'Tirreni. Those who prefer the sea can go to Vietri sul Mare, where the second part of the meeting will take place.
We will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the laboratory space for transfer the sketch to the glazed riggiola, still raw, and decorate it with metal oxide colors, resulting in a unique and customized piece.
At 4:00 p.m., the tiles will be cased and ready for firing. Participants will be able to receive their tiles shipped home (additional cost about €8 for Italy).
The activity is suitable for groups of 4 to 6 people and it is not recommended for children under 16 years of age.
The cost of the private experience is 550.00€ for a group of up to 6 people
