Procida è diventata meta turistica soprattutto dagli anni Cinquanta in poi, grazie al libro di Elsa Morante, L’isola di Arturo. In seguito, è stata anche location di film importanti come Il Postino di Troisi e Il talento di Mr. Ripley.

Il tour in barca verso Procida ti mette a disposizione l’imbarcazione Emy, lunga 10 metri e costruita nel 1949. Potrai partire dal porto di Marechiaro in direzione di Procida, accompagnato da un marinaio addetto al trasporto. La prima sosta è a Coricella Bay, dove si potrà fare un bagno, rilassarsi e portare qualcosa con sé per l’aperitivo.

Trascorsa un’ora e mezza, si prosegue verso il porto della Coricella e qui avrai a disposizione un’altra ora e mezza per pranzare e fare un giro a piedi dell’isola. A seguire, si ritorna in barca per visitare l’Vivara Island e passare del tempo all’insegna del relax. L’ultima sosta è alla Baia del Pozzo Vecchio. Da qui, farai ritorno a Napoli intorno alle 17:30

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Umberto I and Via Depretis towards Piazza Municipio. Take Via Acton, the Tunnel della Vittoria, Via Caracciolo, Viale Dohrn and Viale Gramsci towards Via Mergellina. Follow Via Mergellina until the entrance to Via Posillipo, where Largo Sermoneta is located. To get to Marechiaro from Piazza Garibaldi reach Mergellina and continue along Via Posillipo for 3 km, until entering Via Marechiaro.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi take underground line 2 and get off at the Mergellina stop. From here continue on foot towards Piazza Sannazzaro and take Via Mergellina. Continue until the beginning of Via Posillipo to find Largo Sermoneta. Those who prefer Marechiaro as a meeting point must take bus 151 and get off at the Bruno-Sannazzaro stop. From here take bus 140 and get off at the Santo Strato-Boccaccio stop. Continue on foot on Via Posillipo-Via Santo Strato towards Via Ricciardi and Via Alfano Primo to arrive at Via Marechiaro.
