About this activity

Last June, Napoli won the long-awaited Scudetto of the Series A 2022/2023! For the occasion, the Neapolitan city was decked out in every neighborhood, from the suburbs to the heart of the historic center, celebrating the great sporting success for days on end.
Walking around the streets of Naples was a riot of flags, banners, ribbons and streamers, all strictly blue. If you want to experience the magic of an event that has been awaited for 33 years, you absolutely must take part in this guided tour that will take you through the most striking places in the city center to savor the festive atmosphere that has characterized Naples for months.
The meeting point is in Plebiscite Square and from here we will move on to the first stage, which kicks off in the Quartieri Spagnoli. On the stairs of Vico Colonne in Cariati you will find the curious installation that sees the cardboards of Napoli players arranged along the steps. It went viral on social in just a few days and is one of the funniest symbols of the Scudetto celebrations.
Also in the Quarters you can find another attraction, namely the small miniature Vesuvius that they have placed between Piazzetta Maradona and Via Nuova Santa Maria Ognibene. With a pennant to represent the third shield, the volcano is able to create a mock eruption.
Afterwards you will return again to Plebiscite Square, and then go to take the subway from Toledo Street. Toledo station is one of the most beautiful and picturesque in Naples, with the remains of the Aragonese walls and Pompeian-style blue mosaic decorations. You will get off at the Mostra d'Oltremare stop and walk to the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Garibaldi and turn right onto Via Sebeto. Then take Via Vespucci and continue along Via Marina. After 1 km take Via De Pretis and turn into Piazza Municipio. Continue on Via Vittorio Emanuele III until you reach Piazza Trieste e Trento. About 100 meters ahead is Piazza del Plebiscito.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi take subway line 1 and get off at the Municipio stop. Exit Piazza Municipio and proceed on foot along Via Vittorio Emanuele III. At the traffic circle take Piazza Trieste e Trento and turn left into Piazza del Plebiscito.
