Do you love walking in the most unspoiled nature? With this trekking tour in the heart of Cilento you will have a great time and admire the natural beauty of an area unknown to many. The meeting point of the excursion is in Agropoli. From here you will walk from the wonderful Bay of Trentova to Santa Maria di Castellabate, passing by Punta Tresino.
This is a hiking route of medium difficulty, but it is good to have appropriate shoes and good physical fitness. If you wish, it is also possible to reverse the start and finish, starting in Santa Maria di Castellabate. The trail climbs toward the abandoned village of St. John's via Cozzo Piano Cupo street. On the way you will see fantastic views of Punta Licosa, Santa Maria di Castellabate and Mount Stella.
As you continue northward, the view becomes more and more of Trentova Bay, Paestum, the Sele Plain, Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and you will also get to see Punta Tresino. You will then be able to decide whether to make the loop route or return to the starting point by bus. Finally, there will also be an opportunity to take a guided tour to Punta Licosa from San Marco di Castellabate.
