How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

To reach Ischia Casamicciola from Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, you must first get to the port. You can take a cab, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes, or use public transportation such as Metro Line 1 to the Municipio stop, from which it is a short walk to the port, or an ANM bus such as lines R2 or 151. Once at the port, you can choose between the hydrofoil, which leaves from Molo Beverello and takes about 50 minutes with companies such as SNAV or Alilauro, or the ferry, which leaves from Calata Porta di Massa, takes about an hour and a half and is cheaper, with companies such as Caremar or Medmar. The ferry is also the only option if you need to transport a car. If you disembark directly at Casamicciola, you have already arrived, while if you arrive at Ischia Porto, you can take an EAV bus, such as the CS, CD or 3 lines, or a cab to reach Casamicciola in about 10 minutes. In high season, it is advisable to book tickets in advance to avoid long waits
