He walks among majestic ancient beeches and ancient snowfields in the heart of the Mount Faito.
Crossing the paths of the Monti Lattari Regional Park, you will have the opportunity to admire trees over 400 years old, along with chestnut trees, orchids, cyclamens and typical Mediterranean scrub vegetation.
Along the way, numerous viewpoints will give you breathtaking views: on one side the Sorrento Peninsula with the island of Capri and its famous Faraglioni, on the other, Vesuvius and the city of Naples stretching to the horizon.
Starting from the slopes of Mount Faito, you will immerse yourself in a journey that combines nature, history and millennia-old traditions, going all the way back to the ancient Romans. The trail crosses the historic Via Conte Girolamo Giusso, which connects Castellammare di Stabia to the village of Monte Faito, known for its equestrian center and cable car. Most of the trail runs in the shade of lush forests, making it ideal even in the warmer months.
