Walk among ancient beech trees and ancient snowfields in the heart of the Mount Faito.
Walking along the paths of the mountain located in the Monti Lattari Regional Park, you will be able to admire trees that are over 400 years old, but also chestnut trees, orchids, cyclamens and all the specimens that are part of the typical Mediterranean scrub vegetation.
There is no shortage of scenic spots along the trail: on the one hand, the Sorrento Peninsula to the island of Capri with the Faraglioni, on the other hand, the entire Vesuvius area with the city of Naples and the Vesuvius.
Starting from the slopes of Monte Faito, you will immerse yourself in a journey through history, nature and traditions, agriculture and animal husbandry that originates with the ancient Romans. It is a journey through time passing by Via Conte Girolamo Giusso, a road that connects Castellammare di Stabia to the village of Monte Faito, of more recent birth with its equestrian center and cable car, all while passing through beautiful woods. The path is mostly in the shade, perfect for the warmer months.
