Nature and landscape itinerary among ancient beech trees and ancient snowfields, in the heart of Mount Faito, within the Regional Park of the Lattari Mountains. The hike develops along a path immersed in the beautiful centuries-old beech forest, where it is possible to admire specimens of beech trees over 400 years old, passing through historic snowfields, chestnut groves, areas rich in wild orchids, cyclamens and typical Mediterranean scrub vegetation.
Along the trail, which features a picturesque mountain atmosphere, there are numerous viewpoints with spectacular views of the entire Gulf of Naples: on one side the Sorrento Peninsula to the island of Capri with the Faraglioni rocks clearly visible, and on the other side the Vesuvius area with the city of Naples and Vesuvius.
The trail chronicles an area suspended between history, nature and traditions, from its Roman origins to the period of Count Giusso, to the more recent development of the Village of Mount Faito, the Pian del Pero equestrian center and the Cable Car. The trail, which is largely shaded and free of major inclines, is also suitable for the warmer months and provides a smooth ride.
The hike to Mount Faito is ideal for schools because it offers an educational experience immersed in nature. Students can explore Mediterranean flora, such as ancient beech and chestnut trees, and learn about local history and traditions. We recommend comfortable clothing, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent. Wear hiking shoes or shoes with non-slip soles. Bring 1 liter of water, a snack and a packed breakfast

The organization reserves the right to cancel the scheduled excursion by 3:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled date if valid reasons occur, such as adverse weather conditions or situations that may jeopardize the maintenance of participants' safety conditions
The Guide reserves the right not to admit participants without the proper equipment to the group, as expressly requested. In addition, the Guide may modify the route or program of the hike according to weather conditions, the state of the terrain, and the ability of the group, in order to ensure the safety of all participants and the success of the activity

The Participant may bring along his or her own dog - except in protected wilderness areas where
there is an explicit prohibition on this - must keep their dog on a leash and ensure that their dog is used to being with other people and other dogs without disturbing other hikers

In the event that the Guide decides to cancel the excursion for proven reasons ( adverse weather, landslide bans ordinances other) the amount paid will be "frozen" with the Guide and will be usable within 1 year of payment; alternatively, if requested by the Participant, the amount may be refunded in full
In the event that the Participant is unable to take part in the excursion, he/she must promptly notify the Guide. In case of cancellation, you will be entitled to a refund of the full amount if the communication is made within 72 hours of the excursion, while 50% of the fee will be refunded if the cancellation is communicated within 24 hours before the excursion. Cancellations received after the 24-hour limit prior to the excursion will result in the total loss of the amount paid
