Experience a path of trekking unprecedented, high landscape value, discovering a Positano As you've never seen it!

A walk in the nature that will allow you to climb up the hill to admire and cross one of the symbolic points Of this magical place, viz. Montepertuso. It is a hole dug in the rock, heir to an ancient legend and whose discovery also gave its name to the Positano hamlet of the same name.

Montepertuso is the meeting point, where you will return at the end of the experience thanks to an in-town bus that will pick you up on the upper part of Positano, where the trail ends. A break is also planned along the trail.

It is a unique experience for trekking lovers but also for those who do not want to miss a breathtaking view reaching the highest points, or even for those who want to learn to listen, know and understand nature. The guide will also go over the story and thearchitecture unique of this pearl of the Amalfi Coast and will explain how it fits into a natural setting such as the valley that hosts it.

The hiking-level loop trail includes an immersion in coastal vegetation, crossing the pine forests by Aleppo pine overlooking the sea, and passing below the beautiful crags of Positano. Cliffs are rocky coastlines with sheer walls, beaten directly by the sea or separated from it by a beach.

How to get there

Reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi reach the Garibaldi station and take the 1091-Sorrento train and get off at the Sant'Agnello stop. Then reach the Sorrento-Sant'Agnello bus station and take the MAROZZI bus to Amalfi. The bus will drop you off in Positano, where at Piazza Dei Mulini you can take the inner-city bus that will also stop at Montepertuso. The route is about 3 hours.

Reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi proceed in the direction of Via Galileo Ferraris. Follow A3,SS145 and SS163 in the direction of Via Corvo in Positano. Take Via Monsignor Saverio Cinque, finally Via Monsignor Vito Talamo. You can park near the San Vito Sports Field. The route is about 1 1/2 hours.
