If you are in Amalfi Coast you can't help but carve out an hour of your vacation for a tasting of delicious local products at Ravello. This is not just a simple tasting but a real journey through the flavors of different Italian regions, starting with local ones, passing through the Sardinia until Trentino-Alto Adige.
The flavors we are talking about are those of extra virgin olive oil in all its facets, and more. In particular, there will first be an account of what is the history of olive oil production and an interesting explanation of the related cultivation and processing techniques.
As anticipated, there will be three oil tastings, one from each region, each accompanied by fresh bread. We start with the typical one from Ravello, then move on to orange and lemon flavored ones. Usually these oils are obtained by pressing the peels of citrus fruits together with the olive, giving the product that fresh and fruity scent that goes perfectly with summer dishes but also with pastries. Of course, we are keen to respect your taste, so you can also choose for yourself the type you are most curious about.
The tastings do not end there! We move on to vinegar, according to three different types of aging. It may seem strange to you, but vinegar will be paired with ingredients you would never have imagined, such as fruit, ice cream, as well as other classics like chips or cheese, all served together with an excellent glass of your choice of red, white or prosecco wine.

The oil shop Tastes and Delights was born in 2016 in Ravello when Vincenzo di Palma and Margherita Cioffi, driven by their passion and love for typical Campanian products, decided to carry on the family tradition, producing oil but in an innovative way.
Tastes and Delights also produces jams and the very sweet honey, all products of the coast.
Today it is the only internationally recognized oil shop in the south and has more than forty Italian labels.
