About this activity

The Path of the Gods: A Unique Experience Between Sea, History and Nature

Are you ready for an unforgettable journey? This excursion will take you along and admire one of the most spectacular trails in Italy: the Path of the Gods. A path suspended between sky and sea along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, where every step offers a breathtaking view.

You will start from Bomerano, a small village in Agerola, and we will immediately immerse ourselves in an enchanted atmosphere. The path will lead you to the Cookie Cave, an ancient natural shelter embedded in the rock, and then continue to There Cannati and Serra Hill. On the way, the view opens to the blue expanse of the sea, with the convent of San Domenico looming over the heights above Praiano.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this hike is the presence of numerous springs of fresh water and drinking, perfect for refreshment along the way. But the real spectacle is the views from the natural terraces along the trail: from the Faraglioni of Capri to the island of Li Galli, from the Monti Lattari to the picturesque villages of Praiano and Positano, nestled among the cliffs.

Along the trail, you will be immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and the authentic beauty of the wilderness. This path, rich in history and legends, is intertwined with Greek myth: it is said that it was here that the Olympian gods passed by to help Ulysses escape the bewitching call of the Sirens. A place that writer Italo Calvino called "that road suspended over the magical gulf of the Sirens, ploughed still today by memory and myth."

Walking the Path of the Gods means living a unique experience among extraordinary landscapes and a timeless atmosphere. Pack your backpack, wear comfortable shoes and be enchanted by this jewel of the Amalfi Coast. An adventure awaits you that you will carry in your heart forever.
