Be captivated by the beauty of the protected area of Punta Campanella: this trail is not just a nature walk but stories, legends, and architectural evidence from the 3rd-2nd centuries BC, told against the backdrop of an incredible landscape.
Starting from the small square of Termini, a fraction of Massa Lubrense, follow the signs that lead to Punta Campanella on the right. You will arrive on the last peak of the Lattari Mountains, and then descend steeply along the rocky ridge of the point until you reach the tower and enjoy the view of theIsle of Capri. On the way back you will follow the more comfortable path that runs along the Mount San Costanzo, accompanied by several olive groves.
Punta Campanella owes its name to the Tower of Minerva, a strategic building whose bell was used to warn the inhabitants in case of imminent danger. The latter, along with the mystery hovering around the ancient presence of a shrine to the goddess Athena, are just some of the peculiarities you will discover on this headland.
