If you are fascinated by the hidden beauty in the seabed and have always wondered what lies beneath the surface of the water, this is the perfect activity for you.
It will be a true sea baptism, during which an experienced instructor will accompany you down to a depth of 8 meters, allowing you to enjoy the experience to the fullest and in total safety.
You will admire the rich seabed of Ischia, populated by an extraordinary biodiversity of marine flora and fauna. You will experience the thrill of breathing underwater and feel free to float in the blue sea!
The meeting will take place near the Aragonese Bridge on the island of Ischia. We will start with an in-depth briefing, during which basic rules, safety procedures will be explained and we will do a shore test with the equipment. Only when we are fully prepared will we board the boat to reach the dive site.
The sea baptism involves diving to a maximum depth of 8 meters, enough to admire the colors and wonders guarded by the sea: starfish, schools of fish, colorful seaweed and more.
In addition to being a triumph for the eyes, scuba diving offers extraordinary sensations: the freedom to breathe underwater, the absence of gravity that makes you float like a feather, the silence of the seabed, and the contact with a fascinating and unknown environment.
The total duration of the activity varies depending on the number of participants, as the instructor can accompany two people at a time and the single dive takes about 40 minutes. This activity is at an easy level.

Archeo Bio Snorkeling Excursion to Ischia
Through a guided snorkeling tour, you can explore the beautiful Green Grotto, the striking Grotto of the Magician, the archaeological area of the Nymphaeum Rock in Cartaromana, and the ancient port of Aenaria, as well as observe the phenomenon of gaseous emissions.
The seabed in front of the Aragonese Castle offers a unique spectacle, with gaseous emissions visible at a depth of less than a meter.
Long before the Borgo di Mare on the Bay of Cartaromana, there was another settlement, unknown until a few years ago: Aenaria, an urban agglomeration of Roman times. Due to the complex geological events on the island, today this settlement lies below sea level at a depth of six meters.
An underwater archaeological research project was launched in 2011, which year after year is uncovering the Roman remains of Aenaria, particularly its harbor and the wall structures of a maritime villa.
Thanks to the "Borgo di Mare," you can visit the archaeological excavations of the ancient Roman settlement of Aenaria in Cartaromana Bay, the remains of other Roman structures, and the characteristic carbon dioxide gas emissions near the Aragonese Castle. After a short briefing in the room of the Multimedia Educational Center "Aenaria Archaeological Tour," you will be ready to explore these underwater wonders.
