With this exciting cooking class, children will have a great time. The workshop, titled "Baptism of True Neapolitan Pizza.", will be held at the headquarters of the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association in Capodimonte.
During the experience, children and their caregivers will participate in a lesson on the Neapolitan pizza, led by a master pizza maker who will explain the essential ingredients and dough preparation. The next steps, such as rolling out the dough on the paddle and baking in the oven, will also be explained.
After learning the technique, the little ones will get their hands in the dough to create and season their own pizza, which they will then bake in the wood-fired oven. At the end of the cooking class, they will enjoy their creations accompanied by water and Coca-Cola.
This workshop is particularly recommended to schools because it combines learning and fun, offering an engaging educational experience that enriches the school curriculum. Children not only discover the history and tradition of Neapolitan pizza, but also learn concepts of nutrition education and manual skills, stimulating their creativity and teamwork.
In addition, the workshop promotes the development of practical skills such as concentration, motor coordination and following instructions, all in an informal and interactive setting. Because it is led by experienced pizza makers, children learn directly from the professionals, thus strengthening their connection to local culture and Italian culinary tradition.
For schools, it is a unique opportunity to enrich educational offerings with an activity that allows children to learn by doing, making it more stimulating and memorable.
At the end of the experience, each child will receive a free apron, cap and a diploma, as a memento of this special day.
