La partenza del tour avverrà al mattino o nel tardo pomeriggio da Borgo Marinari e l’esperienza dovrebbe durare circa 40 minuti oppure di 3 ore. Insieme a te ci sarà uno skipper professionista che ti illustrerà ciò che vedrai nel corso della traversata. Durante il tour, infatti, avrai modo di ammirare il seafront Caracciolo, la promenade di Napoli che costeggia il Parco della Villa Comunale e la Riviera di Chiaia.

A seguire potrai osservare il celebre Castel dell'Ovo, che è il castello più antico del capoluogo partenopeo. Secondo la leggenda il suo nome proviene dal fatto che il poeta Virgilio avrebbe nascosto nelle sue segrete un uovo magico che aveva il potere di reggere in piedi l’edificio. Infine, vedrai anche St. Vincent Pier, oggi usato per ormeggiare le barche sequestrate ed utilizzato come set per le riprese della serie tv Mare Fuori.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

Starting from Piazza Garibaldi, take Corso Garibaldi in a westerly direction. Continue on Via Tribunali and then on Via San Biagio dei Librai, crossing the Centro Storico. Continue on Via Toledo to Piazza del Plebiscito. From here, follow Via Chiaia and Via Santa Lucia until you reach Borgo Marinari. The route is about 3 km and, depending on traffic, may take 15 to 30 minutes. Keep in mind that the area is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), so it is advisable to check restrictions before entering.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi station, take Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the "Municipio" stop. From there, exit the station and walk for about 10 minutes along Via Toledo and Via Santa Lucia to Borgo Marinari. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Line 6 at the "Garibaldi" station towards "Mostra" and get off at the "Chiaia" stop. From there, walk for about 15 minutes along Via Chiaia and Via Santa Lucia. Both lines are operated by ANM and the single ride ticket costs 1.50 euros .
