About this tour

Do you want to experience the true and deep essence of Neapolitan culture? With this walking tour of the Spanish quarters you can fully immerse yourself in the customs and traditions of Naples. Like so many other major cities, the Neapolitan capital is distinguished by a neighborhood with the controversial history that the Quartieri Spagnoli are.
This is one of the oldest areas and is divided in turn into 3 other suburbs such as Montecalvario, Advocate and St. Ferdinand, all of which arose around the 16th century to accommodate Spanish troops. The Spanish Quarters have remained intact to successive urban developments, preserving part of the original core.
The guided hike will take place over 3 hours, and you can discover the beauty of some special places, including votive shrines and art murals. Also making everything even more special are the lamps placed at various street corners by the well-known designer Dalisi that have made the village a true open-air museum.
Amidst anecdotes and trivia about the neighborhood, you will be shown symbols related to the love of soccer and traditional basses, typical Neapolitan homes. The tour stops include Pizzeria Brandi, Piazzetta Rosario di Palazzo, Vico Tre Regine, Largo Barracche, Teatro Nuovo, Maradona's Murales, Vico Totò, Filomena Marturano's House, and the Pignasecca Market.

Very characteristic neighborhood where you can breathe the real Naples. Every glimpse is exciting, full of life and warmth. Not to mention the Maradona mural (which has become a place of worship for all Neapolitans and others). People come from all over the world to dive into a sacred profane mysticism that can only be experienced here. Exciting to feel the warmth of a city! Book the tour with a guided tour and you will not regret it.

    Fantastic Naples!

In Naples for the first time I am staying on Via Dei Tribunali and a stone's throw from Via Toledo...but the Quartieri Spagnoli won me over with its veracity, the innumerable eateries and markets, truly characteristic! The guide was able to provide explanations from all points of view. Thank you movery agency for this experience!!! See you next year.

    Magnificent spganoli quarters

Wandering around the Spanish Quarters is a characteristic experience that allows you to capture the spirit of the city quite well. Don't miss some of the murals, including the one of Maradona, which has become practically a place of worship. Kudos to the tour guide, she was very professional.
