Take part in this wonderful immersive experience dedicated to the vietrese ceramics, accompanied by a tasty aperitif with local excellences. You can delight yourself with a good wine from Campania, accompanied by taralli and olives, or choose a sweeter option with coffee, lemonade and delicious lemon treats. Food, on this occasion, also turns into an art to be enjoyed!
As you enjoy these delicacies, you will be immersed in the story of the Vietri sul Mare and its most representative art: the majolica. You will have the opportunity to watch a live demonstration by an experienced potter, who will show you how to use the potter's wheel, one of the main tools of this ancient craft tradition. You will learn the basics of pottery making, from positions to basic shapes, and you will be able to interact with the master craftsman, asking questions and satisfying your every curiosity.
A unique experience that combines the beauty of the vietrese ceramics to the culinary arts, offering a time of learning, creativity and pleasure for all the senses.
The cost for the "Coffee/Aperitif with Majolica" experience is €160.00 for a group of up to 25 people
The experience can be booked at 9:30 a.m. in Coffee version, with coffee, lemonade prepared with local lemons and lemon sweets, or at 1:40 p.m. in Aperitivo version, with wine from Campania, taralli and olives
The experience is held on the ground floor of a building in the heart of the historic center, on the main street. To access, there are 5 steps and, unfortunately, the facility is not equipped for people with mobility difficulties
The workshop is located at 102 Corso Umberto I Street, Vietri sul Mare.

The course includes demonstration at the potter's wheel: so you will learn the basic positions, discover the main techniques of pottery, and observe the making of a typical object
Small animals are allowed
The activity is available in Italian and English. Upon request and with an additional charge to be agreed upon, it can also be conducted in French, Spanish or German
Parking is available along the road, with an hourly ticket fee
You will have all the tools you need: wooden splints, forks, knives, sponges, water for working, and aprons
Items are not available at the end of the experience, but can be shipped later at the recipient's expense
The maximum number of participants in the period from April-October is 25, from November-March, it is 15 people
