About this tour

The Amalfi Coast is one of Campania's great tourist attractions and is taken by storm annually by thousands of Italian and foreign tourists from all corners of the world. To explore such an iconic and fascinating place, don't miss this full day shared tour through the most picturesque villages of this part of the Campanian coastline.

Each of the excursion participants will be picked up in Sorrento by a chauffeured Mercedes minivan. The first leg of the trip is. Positano, a beautiful village built vertically on the coast within an intricate web of streets and alleys that showcase the varied local tradition in all its facets.

At the center of the Amalfi township is the ancient Church of Santa Maria Assunta, easily recognized by its vast majolica-covered dome that houses some valuable works, including polychrome marble altars. The tour then continues to Amalfi, a city dominated by the imposing Cathedral of St. Andrew, a Romanesque-style building dating back to the 10th century.

Along the streets of Amalfi you will notice many reminders of its glorious past as a Maritime Republic, and at the many souvenir stores you will be able to buy a small memento to take home. To top it off, there will be time to drop in at Ravello, another stunning seaside village on the Amalfi Coast that stands out for its elegance and luxurious residences overlooking the sea.

Ravello is also known worldwide for hosting the Ravello Festival music festival inside the garden of Villa Rufolo. Once the guided tour is over, you will return to Sorrento.

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi move onto Corso Lucci and Via Ferraris to take the A3. After 22 km take the exit for Castellammare di Stabia and enter the SS145 for 20 km. Then continue on Corso Italia, Corso Crawford, Via Cocumella, Via Correale and Piazza Tasso to reach the center of Sorrento.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Naples Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train on the Naples-Sorrento line and get off at the Sorrento stop.
