About this tour

The Amalfi Coast is an absolute must for anyone visiting Campania. To capture all its splendor, you can choose this guided excursion to the area, through which you will learn about the wonders of one of the region's most beautiful areas. The tour kicks off in the morning with a minivan that will take you directly to the embarkation at Sorrento. Once on board, you'll sail along the coast admiring the panoramic terraces overlooking the sea, the Bay of Ieranto, the Queen Giovanna Baths, and the marine protected area of Punta Campanella.

On board there will be an expert guide who will tell you the history of these places and all the local anecdotes and legends. Among the most beautiful sights you will encounter are the Fjord of Furore, Li Galli Island, Praiano, and the Bay of Nerano. The first stop will be at Amalfi, a UNESCO heritage site. Here you will be able to wander around freely for 3 1/2 hours, during which you will have a chance to visit the main points of interest such as Amalfi Cathedral and the Paper Museum. Concluding this stop, you will move on to Positano, where you will have an hour of free time to enjoy its alleys, craft stores and multicolored ceramics. You will be captivated by the colors of a postcard view! At the conclusion of the experience, you will be escorted back to the starting point.

Those who wish to enrich their day, however, can take advantage of the option Ravello. The tour itinerary will be the same as the basic option, but in Amalfi there will be a minibus that will take you to Ravello, one of the most picturesque villages on the Amalfi Coast. You will be able to see Villa Rufolo with its adjoining garden and an incredible view of the Gulf of Salerno.

How to get there

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi take Corso Lucci and Via Ferraris to take the A3. Continue for 20 km and exit at the Castellammare di Stabia junction. Enter the SS145 and after 10 km turn onto Via Gioia, Via Marconi, Via del Salvatore and Via Caracciolo. Then continue on Via Madonna di Roselle and Via Ripa di Cassano. After 400 meters you enter Via Marina di Cassano.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Piazza Garibaldi station, take the Naples-Sorrento line of the Circumvesuviana and get off at Piano di Sorrento stop. Exit the station and proceed on foot on Via della Stazione, Via San Michele, Via Ciampa, Via Ripa di Cassano. Finally, turn right onto Via Marina di Cassano.
