About this activity

Follow the cooking class at the Limonaia: fun, good food and quality raw materials are assured!

The Lemon House offers an unmissable cooking class, nestled in an oasis of greenery and tranquility in the center of Sorrento. Classes are held in the Home Restaurant's beautiful citrus grove, amid the vibrant colors and heady scents of lemon and orange trees.

Thanks to one professional chef you will learn how to prepare delicious local dishes with your own hands, following ancient recipes and family secrets that make these delicacies special.

Waiting for you is a cooking class other than the traditional one: included in this experience is a walking tour of the Limonaia's vegetable garden, where you can collect all the organic produce that will be used later in the creation of the dishes, making them fresh and wholesome.

Before you begin you will be greeted with a warm welcome drink.

The class includes the preparation of the traditional Sorrento menu, which varies according to the seasonality of the products, and consists of fresh pasta dishes, main courses and the ever-present dessert. Among the Sorrento specialties you will learn to cook under the chef's expert guidance are gnocchi alla sorrentina or ravioli alla caprese.

Unmissable is the famous eggplant parmigiana made with fried and baked eggplant with mozzarella and tomato sauce. To end the lesson on a sweet note, there is dessert: a lemon-flavored caprese or a mouthwatering coffee tiramisu.

At the end of the class there will be tasting time and you will be the judge of your courses yourself: you will be able to enjoy them amid smiles, great wine and above all good company. The cooking class includes a certificate of participation and list of recipes so you can have fun in the kitchen and reproduce the dishes at home as well.

Home restaurant La Limonaia

La Limonaia Home Restaurant has a small characteristic kitchen similar to that of a home, so it offers a km 0 menu, designed and prepared with ingredients grown and harvested from its own garden. This choice makes the dishes unique and varied. You can choose appetizers, first courses and main courses, always different according to the seasonality of the products that the land offers. Not surprisingly, the slogan of the restaurant is "Picked and eat", meaning "gathered and eaten."

This is a unique experience that will allow you to savor the true taste of Sorrento cuisine, traveling through the flavors and food and wine culture of this wonderful land.

Let yourself be seduced by a tasty mozzarella grilled in a lemon leaf with bruschetta and cherry tomatoes, caprese salad, gnocchi alla sorrentina, spaghetti with lemon, ravioli la limone, parmigiana of eggplant or zucchini, and many other delicacies worth savoring.

To be redone

Sala all’ aperto spaziosa e ben curata. Piatti ben cucinati. Prezzi nella norma. Da rifare!
