Guided Tour
In the enchanting setting of the Real Sito del Fusaro, between the quiet waters of the lake and the 18th-century refinement of the Casina Vanvitelliana, an immersive theatrical experience dedicated to one of the greatest masterpieces of Italian literature comes to life: The Decameron By Giovanni Boccaccio.
The project stems from the desire to interweave storytelling, live performance and enhancement of cultural heritage and landscape, resulting in a show that dialogues with the places that host it, transforming them into a living and palpitating scene.
The performance is divided into two distinct and complementary moments:
Part One - The Oyster Show
In the heart of the historic Bourbon Park building, the public is introduced to the world of the Decameron: a journey into the 14th century among love, wit, irony and mockery. The novellas, interpreted chorally, take shape with lively rhythm and engaging atmosphere, restoring all the surprising modernity of Boccaccio's work.
Part Two - The Casina Vanvitelliana
Crossing the iconic wooden pier suspended over the lake, spectators reach the famous Casina Vanvitelliana, a jewel of Vanvitellian architecture suspended over the water. Here a special guided tour awaits them, curated by art historians from the cooperative Flying Carpet, which will reveal its history, secrets and architectural peculiarities.
For the evening performances, the experience concludes with a convivial moment: an aperitif on the Casina's panoramic terrace, from which the view opens onto the Phlegrean landscape, providing a finale of rare beauty.
