About this tour

If you are a fan of the famous "Sea Out" TV series and wish to explore Naples through the iconic locations of the fiction, we have the perfect experience for you. Join our exclusive walking tour followed by an unforgettable boat ride along the beautiful Neapolitan coastline.

The walking tour winds through the neighborhoods that served as the backdrop for the events of Carmine, Naditza, Pirucchio and companions, reliving the emotions and highlights of the series.

Walking tour milestones:

1. Porta San Gennaro and Pizzeria Capasso: The starting point is Porta San Gennaro, the heart of Naples' historic center. From here, you'll head to Pizzeria Capasso, where in the third season Pirucchio finds redemption through work in the pizza workshop.

2. Umberto I Gallery: Continue to the Umberto I Gallery, location of the touching scene between Carmine and the Commander in the second season, where the protagonist reflects on his future and his daughter Futura.

3. Montesanto Monumental Staircase: You will climb the steps of the Montesanto Monumental Staircase, where in a flashback we see a young Commander arguing with his friend who is trying to steal a bag.

4. Toledo Street Station: In the Via Toledo station, you will relive the meeting between 'O Chiattillo and Naditza, where music and attraction bring them closer, but a theft complicates their relationship.

5. Maradona murals and St. Vincent Pier: Around the station you will admire murals dedicated to Maradona, soccer legend and symbol of Naples. Getting off at the Montecalvario stop, you will make a stop at his mural. Finally, you will reach Molo San Vincenzo, the external location of the juvenile prison, admiring it from the sea.

"Sea Out" boat tour

After the walking tour, head to Marechiaro for the unmissable boat ride. From here, you will sail to the Badessa Cove, a quiet and unspoiled cove located not far from Nisida, the island that houses the actual juvenile correctional institution that inspired the one in the series.

Set sail from Marechiaro and get ready for an unforgettable experience discovering picturesque corners and iconic places that served as the backdrop for the "Mare Fuori" series.

The boat tour kicks off from the marina of Marechiaro, a picturesque seaside village nestled in the beauty of the Posillipo coastline. From here, we will sail to Cala della Badessa, a quiet, unspoiled cove located not far from Nisida, the island that is home to the real juvenile penal institution that inspired the one in the series.

Continuing to the Rock of Punta Nera, an evocative place, you will retrace the events of 'O Pirucchio (Gaetano) reliving the emotional scene of his disappearance. Leaving Punta Nera behind, we will head toward Villa Grotta Marina, a historic residence in Posillipo surrounded by greenery and overlooking the sea. Here, we will be transported into the romantic atmosphere of the series, retracing one of the most intense moments between Edward and Teresa.

Finally, the tour will culminate with the admiring of Villa Lauro, a stately home that holds a spring of exceptional mineral water. This enchanting place served as the backdrop for the love story between Edward and Teresa, giving us an evocative and emotionally rich ending.

It will be a truly unique experience that will allow you to discover Naples from a different perspective, reliving the emotions of the "Sea Out" series and creating new unforgettable memories.

    Absolutely must do!!!!

The walking tour started from Porta San Gennaro, and then continued to Pizzeria Capasso, the location of the scene between Pirucchio and the Comandante. From here, we headed to the Galleria Umberto I, where Carmine and the Comandante discuss the future of the former.I thoroughly enjoyed the knowledgeable guide, who led us with passion and expertise through the alleys and squares of Naples, telling us anecdotes and trivia about the series and the city. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the boat ride. Set sail from Molo Beverello, we sailed along the coast, admiring breathtaking views of the Gulf and some of the most iconic places in Naples, such as Castel Nuovo, Maschio Angioino and Palazzo Donn'Anna. Recommended, excellent organization!

    Experience living in Naples

I recently participated in the Mare Fuori Tour in Naples and was thrilled with the experience. The tour is structured in two parts: a walking tour to discover the iconic places of the series and a boat tour along the coast of Naples. What can I say, wonderful!
