Sea Out 6 is ready to return to television to continue telling the personal stories of the boys incarcerated in Naples' juvenile prison. This new season also continues to move between drama, strong feelings and important social themes such as redemption, wrong choices, the weight of family and the difficulty of changing paths when growing up in certain contexts.

Although no official communication has yet arrived, rumors set the date at March 13 2026 the free-to-air debut on Rai 2. The launch, however, is expected to follow the successful formula tried in previous years, with early binge-watch release on RaiPlay. The cast will undergo a profound renewal, which is inevitable after the departure of historical figures such as Cardiotrap (Domenico Cuomo), Silvia (Clotilde Esposito) and Milos (Antonio D'Aquino), whose story arcs have finally ended. Instead, remaining the focus of the story will be Rosa Ricci, played by Maria Esposito.

Despite rumors of her possible farewell after the prequel film I am Rosa Ricci, which arrived in theaters in late 2025, the actress has hinted that her character's journey within the IPM is not yet over. Indeed, Rosa will have to deal with the aftermath of the ambush that involved her along with Thomas (Manuel Velo).

It is precisely the relationship between Rosa and Tommaso that will become the emotional heart of the new episodes, suspended between drives for revenge and a difficult path to redemption. Important news will also concern the management of the prison: Lucrezia Guidone, the face of the director Sofia Durante, will leave the series. In his place will come a new director, played by Romano Reggiani, the bearer of an educational vision destined to change the balance of the institution.

There will be no shortage, however, of historical figures such as Massimo Esposito (Carmine Recano), Beppe (Vincenzo Ferrera) and Carmela (Giovanna Sannino), increasingly determined in her rise to power. Among the new entries, persistent rumors circulate about the arrival of three inmate sisters, tough and ruthless figures ready to disrupt the women's section.

Finally, the chapter of possible guest stars remains open: fans are hoping for a final appearance by Carmine Di Salvo (Massimiliano Caiazzo) to end his journey for good, while the end of his collaboration with Giacomo Giorgio (Ciro Ricci) appears now confirmed, barring any brief flashbacks.

In continuity with its predecessors, Sea Out 6 will maintain a intense and emotional tone, trying to portray not only juvenile crime, but above all the human side of its characters: fragile, angry, in love, often frightened kids who are looking for a place in the world even when everything seems to push them in the wrong direction.

One of the most significant changes concerns the direction. After the departure of Ludovico Di Martino, the leadership of the series passes to Benjamin Chain, a name already much appreciated by audiences. This rotation hints at a possible renewal of the narrative style with more introspective nuances or approaching the legal thriller, but without losing that direct and hard-edged realism that has helped make Mare Fuori a major phenomenon even internationally.

Meanwhile, Rai Fiction is already looking ahead and strengthening the future of the series. The seventh and eighth seasons are in fact already under development, a clear sign of how central the project is still considered and far from a conclusion. The story of Mare Fuori, therefore, is set to continue, continuing to evolve and surprise its audience.
