Discover with us the colors, flavors, bays and scents of Cilento on this day-long boat tour. You can snorkel, visit the seaside village of Acciaroli, indulge in a delicious tasting of typical Mediterranean diet products, and, of course, relax during the swim stop.
Embarkation and departure at 10:00 am. First leg Punta Fortino: you will immediately recognize it by the lighthouse that stands on top, built way back in 1929. Immediately afterwards you will meet the Elephant Cave, custodian of an ancient legend starring the so-called "Green Queen."
Navigation continues to the Bay and the Cliff by St. Francis, the Trentova Bay, up to the Saùco Bay, in ancient times a natural Roman port, where you will stop for your first bathing stop. All these places are not only full of charm, miracles, love legends, but are also of absolute naturalistic beauty.
Take the opportunity to snorkel and discover the seabed of the coast, sip a nice coffee while enjoying the warm rays of the sun, and continue the tour by moving to Punta Tresino, on top of which a hiking trail also branches off.
The Cilento coastline boasts several Blue Flag recognized marine areas, including. St. John's Cove, with its golden beach, set in a completely natural cove, surrounded by ancient caves and a thriving pine forest. On its promontory you will cross with your gaze an ancient abandoned village, the ruins of which you can still notice today. Among the coastal landscapes you will encounter Punta Pagliarolo and the seaside village of Castellabate, star of the film Benvenuti al Sud; in particular you will stop near the small port Le Gatte, famous for the scene in which Claudio Bisio tries to learn Neapolitan dialect over dinner. Along the way you will pass Pozzillo beach and the Greco-Roman port of San Marco di Castellabate.
There will be no lack of a complete tour around the island of Licosa With a tour of the coast. After passing through the Bay of Ogliastro, you will stop around 12:30 p.m. at Ripe Rosse, escarpments from which the view is breathtaking, and here you will make your second bathroom stop beginning the long-awaited tasting. Lunch will take place at the typical restaurant with: alici mbuttunate, eggplant mbuttunate, pasta with anchovies cilentana style, ciambotta cilentana, water.
At 1:30 p.m. we depart for Acciaroli, where disembarkation will take place for a tour of the seaside village. You will have time at your leisure to visit its narrow streets, small houses and long beaches.
Acciaroli is an ancient fishing village, considered one of the jewels of the Cilento coast and also a tourist resort that boasts "5 sails" awards for both its crystal clear water and hospitality. But it doesn't end there: it is also considered the home of the Mediterranean Diet, proclaimed an intangible cultural asset by UNESCO, so you can take the opportunity to continue the tastings ashore as well.
At 3:00 pm all aboard to reach Licosa Island again for your last bathroom stop, with dessert tasting for the afternoon break. At 5:00 p.m. you will begin the return trip back to the port; we suggest you enjoy the whole way and take pictures with your eyes of the landscapes you will pass over to preserve them forever as a memory of this relaxing day.
