About this tour

Campania offers many tourist sites, and one of the most spectacular corners is certainly the stretch of coastline between the Sorrento Coast and the Amalfi Coast. To visit this area in peace, don't miss this fantastic full day boat excursion, ideal for relaxing and soaking in a sea of fascinating shades of blue and green.

The guided tour takes place aboard a fine Sorrentine gozzo, and departure is scheduled from the port of Piano di Sorrento. For those who wish, pick-up at their accommodation in Sorrento is possible. Once check-in is completed, the tour can begin.

In the course of the trip you will see the port of Marina Grande, an ancient fishing village and the remains of a Roman-era villa in the vicinity of the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, a magnificent natural pool set in the cliffs of Capo Sorrento. At the far end of the Sorrento Peninsula you can also admire the Bay of Ieranto, a natural inlet belonging to the territory of Massa Lubrense.

You will then proceed to the Amalfi Coast and get to see Li Galli Island, the Fjord of Furore, Praiano, Positano, Amalfi and the Emerald Cave, a karst cavity in Conca dei Marini.

The trip will include a stop for swimming or snorkeling, and you can indulge in snacks and drinks galore. There will then be two hours of free time to spend in Amalfi and Positano. To finish, you will return to Sorrento, and before returning there will be room for a limoncello tasting.

How to reach the meeting point by car

From Piazza Garibaldi move onto Corso Lucci and Via Ferraris to take the A3. After 22 km take the exit for Castellammare di Stabia and enter the SS145 for 20 km. Then continue on Corso Italia, Corso Crawford, Via Cocumella, Via Correale and Piazza Tasso to reach the center of Sorrento.

How to reach the meeting point by public transportation

From Naples Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train on the Naples-Sorrento line and get off at the Sorrento stop.
