Naples: the perfect place for this series
At the beginning of the first episode we immediately see our protagonist Elena Sofia Ricci, returning from a trip, which, judging by his expressions, seems to have had a rather dramatic outcome. What, then, is the location in which the entire series is set?
According to Pappi Corsicato, Naples was the perfect place to set this series, not only because of the origins of the director himself but also because of the goal of revealing hidden sides of the mysterious city of Naples.
The choice to set the series right in Naples is also due to the dynamism that this city offers, which with its constant change, perfectly reflects the protagonist, Laura.
However Naples is not the only location in this series. In fact, Tenerife is another key location in the fiction, being the refuge of the husband of Laura, Renato. Many scenes, however, were shot in Ostia, in the Latium, for technical and practical reasons.
Payback: Laura's idea and her sartù
