About this activity

Come explore the beauty of Mount Faito with us! The hike kicks off from the Mount Faito 1,200 meters above sea level, with a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples. A convenient transfer from Sorrento will take you to the top to begin the experience. From here you will depart for Mount Conocchia at 1380 meters and Mount Molare at 1444 meters.
As you ascend, you will also see the landscape around you change. At first you will pass through beech and chestnut forests, and then reach the roof of the Sorrento Peninsula with a fantastic view of the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno.
Many legends are told about these places, according to which in the past they were the haunt of hermit saints or witches and elves. From Mount Faito you will cross the Lattari Mountains with their incomparable treasure trove of biodiversity, protected by the park of the same name. One of the most beautiful stretches is undoubtedly the descent to Santa Maria del Castello, a hamlet straddling Positano and Vico Equense.
In addition to spectacular flora, you will be able to spot many animal specimens, including reptiles, butterflies, migratory insects, small mammals and birds. On Mount Faito there is also the possibility of lunch at a mountain lodge. In addition, with the joelette chair the hike is also accessible to the disabled.
