If you love going to bike this tour is the best way to discover Naples. Imagine a warm, sunny spring day, the sea, people's laughter echoing in the alleyways, the smell of pizza and sfogliatelle flooding the historic center, and you exploring the main streets of the city between pedaling.
On the way you will stop at the most beautiful and interesting areas while listening to the guide's stories to fully get to know Naples.
After starting from the gallery in front of the Archaeological Museum of Naples, you ride the bike path on the beautiful waterfront of Mergellina, you go up Cesario Console Street, Plebiscite Square, the bustling Via Toledo and Piazza Carità. After crossing Jesus Square, one of the most important squares in Naples, you access the Decumani, the heart of the city, starting from the Lower one and then going up along via dei Tribunali all the way to the Anticaglia. This street in ancient Neapolis constituted the area of theaters; in fact, it still preserves historical relics dating back to Greco-Roman, medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque times.
A possible alternative to the classic route, if you want to lengthen the itinerary, involves stopping at the Mount Echia, located in the Pizzofalcone area: this is the promontory on which the Cuminans founded ancient Parthènope. One descends along the Lamont Young Ramps, so named for Villa Ebe, a neo-Gothic mansion standing at the top of the ramps and designed by the Young architect of the same name.
Once you reach Via Caracciolo and the wonderful Castel dell'Ovo looming in the background there, we return to Plebiscite Square before resuming the route described earlier.
