The Sorrento Peninsula has not only the wonderful sea but also lots of typical products, all to be tasted. You will have the chance to try the local delicacies of the town of Sorrento on this afternoon tour with tasting.
Starting from Badger Square, the beating heart of Sorrento, you will stroll along the city's narrow streets, including the quaint Pieta Street and learn about the history of the town, the techniques of growing fragrant lemons, and the production of olive oil, cheese and wine. You will learn how to recognize the quality of products by their properties, such as color, aroma and flavor.
You will discover the Little MAM, Arts and Crafts Museum, a wonderful project created to hand down and remember the ancient crafts that are the basis of the culture of Sorrento and the entire coastline. You will also visit a local cheese factory that makes cheese and, at the end of the itinerary, a limoncello factory. You will be fascinated by L'orafo del legno, a special craft store with jewelry, accessories and many wonderful gift items.
During the walk you can enjoy a delicious bruschetta: fresh homemade bread, extra virgin olive oil, local cheeses, salami and vegetables, all accompanied by a glass of wine.
