Procida

You absolutely have to pass by Procida anche se non hai visto Il Postino!
La spiaggia di Pozzo Vecchio, rinominata poi "The Postman's Beach", was the scene of this masterpiece together with the village of Marina Corricella.
L'isola, scelta da Massimo Troisi e Micheal Radford, però non è nota solo per essere stata set di questo film senza tempo. Procida è un'isola ricca di tradizioni, con borghi dalle case tutte colorate, tipiche taverne che friggono il pesce fresco e con il profumo degli agrumi spremuti nei chioschi.
Numerosi sono gli edifici da poter vedere, ad esempio nel borgo di Walled Earth we find Avalos Palace, il Monastero di Santa Margherita e il Santuario Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Raggiungere Procida è semplice, ricca di meravigliose spiagge dall'acqua cristallina, come quella di Chiaia and the Chiaiolella beach, the island is well connected by ferries and hydrofoils with the island of Ischia and with the cities of Naples and Pozzuoli.

I booked through Movery the sea tour outside in the private mode. I specifically chose this mode because we were already a nice little group and preferred to experience it on our own.
