he Christmas season is just around the corner, and like every year, cities throughout Italy are filled with decorations, decorations and colorful illuminations that make this very special time even more exciting. Among majestic fir trees and nativity scenes, there is a different atmosphere in the air than usual that will make young and old happy.

One of the most anticipated events in the province of Naples are the Luci d'Artista in Bacoli, a Phlegrean municipality overlooking Lake Miseno. Once again this year the illuminations were lit inside the beautiful Municipal Villa. Such lights will bring to life the so-called Enchanted Christmas Garden that winds through the Villa with a series in Christmas-themed installations.

This magnificent route of illuminations is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters and is an event that attracts many tourists during the Christmas holidays.

The magic of Christmas on stage in Bacoli

Bacoli is the first municipality in the Phlegraean Fields area to access Luci d'Artista, a glittering open-air exhibition of extraordinary works of art capable of taking visitors into an enchanted and sparkling world. The event has been repeated for several years and has now become a must-see for the people of Bacoli and beyond.

The Enchanted Christmas Garden of Bacoli takes place inside the Villa Comunale and with its illuminations manages to attract the dreamy gazes of adults and children alike, despite in cold and dark. Just in front of the entrance to the Villa towers a huge luminous Santa Claus, and along the route one can see lots of colorful little houses, reindeer, wolves, polar bears and snowmen.

The event opened its doors last Nov. 18 and is sure to make Bacoli one of the most beautiful and evocative Christmas villages in Campania. It is important to emphasize the passion and commitment of the local artisans who, together with the local government, have been working for several weeks on the installation of the illuminations that give the city an even more magical aura.

The Enchanted Garden is therefore an unmissable opportunity to attract tourists and populate the Phlegrean municipality not only in summer, but also in winter. In addition, the event features a series of musical, theatrical and dance performances for all tastes.

The mayor of Bacoli himself, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, expressed on social media his satisfaction and joy: "They are beautiful and it is impressive the number of people who reached the Villa Comunale for the lighting of Luci d'Artista. Bacoli is in celebration, full of tourists, families, happy children. There are so many puppets, installations, and Christmas lights that are making the public park overlooking Lake Miseno shine."

Access to the Enchanted Christmas Garden is free and will be available to visit from Nov. 18 through Jan. 6.
