A great success with audiences and critics, Mare Fuori is ready to return to television in a few months with its new season, filming of which began last June in Naples. The next series, however, sees a change in direction, entrusted to Beniamino Catena, former director of the Rai drama "Doc - In Your Hands." The appointment with Sea Out 6 is for next February, when it will debut on RaiPlay and on Rai2.
The series is thus ready to once again tell us the stories of the boys of the juvenile prison of Naples who, amid lights and shadows, struggle to find their place in the world. At the center of it all will once again be Rosa Ricci which will move between family conflicts and internal clan vendettas. We will find most of the main characters again, joined by three sisters eager to assert themselves in the prison hierarchies. Meanwhile, other young detainees will have to face the consequences of their actions, struggling for a better future.
In addition to Mare Fuori 6, a film dedicated to the figure of Rosa Ricci is also being released. The film, directed by Lydia Patitucci and titled "I am Rosa Ricci", will arrive in theaters next October 30 and will focus precisely on this character, whose origins we will discover. In fact, we will be revealed his life before he ended up in prison and to turn to crime, things that were only hinted at in flashbacks in the TV series. The film goes back to 2020 when the young woman is 15 years old and the daughter of one of the city's most notorious bosses. Little by little we will find out how the anger that sets her apart and her desire for redemption came about.
