Day 2
On the second day, however, you will move to two spectacular villages such as Maiori and Minori, two undisputed pearls of the Amalfi Coast.
To begin with, you can choose this Lemon Trail hike for schools and shared groups. The Lemon Trail walk begins in Maiori, from where you will move to the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare. You will then continue to the hamlet of Torre and here you will see the Church of San Michele Arcangelo. You will reach the Belvedere Mortella from which there are magnificent views of Ravello, Amalfi and Atrani. Next, you'll pay a visit to the farm to learn all about the cultivation of lemons and also taste typical products. Finally, you will reach Minori and also see the church of Santa Trofimena.
After Minori and Maiori we suggest you move on to Ravello, the beautiful Amalfi town known as the City of Music and home of the renowned Ravello Festival. Here we recommend the tour to Ravello Villas and Grotta del Dragone with private excursion. This is a trekking walk that will show you incredible landscapes and lemon terraces. The loop route passes through the hamlet of Torello, to climb toward the center of Ravello along a path of about 4 km.
On the other hand, if you have a sweet tooth and want to immerse yourself in the gastronomy of the Amalfi Coast, you can't leave without the lemon tour and lunch at the Limonaia in Sorrento. You will be shown the cultivation method of the "oval Sorrento" lemon, known for its essential oils and unique scent. Then you will taste some specialties of the place such as jams, limoncello and lemon-flavored olive oil. Then there will be room for lunch at a restaurant in the center of Sorrento.
Also truly unique is theespresso Napoletano Experience in Cilento: tasting and tour in Vietri sul mare. The experience takes place in Molina, near Salerno, where you will visit a farm of roasting. You will learn about the steps involved in coffee processing and you will also be able to taste a great Neapolitan coffee. You'll also have two different options including a tour to Vietri by ape calessino or a walking tour, also in Vietri.
Those who want to learn how to cook local dishes can instead take advantage of the cooking class on the Amalfi Coast. The masterclass takes place in Agerola and you can learn how to make tiramisu, mozzarella, and homemade pasta. After you finish cooking, you will sit at the table and eat what you have prepared.
Lovers of good food then can also purchase a tasting at the oil shop on the Amalfi Coast. This trip to Ravello among the flavors of Italy will allow you to taste the area's olive oil and learn about the history of local production and cultivation techniques. After the tasting of oil You will also try vinegar in 3 types of aging.
If you are more sporty and love being outdoors, you can't leave the Amalfi Coast without doing this Path of the Gods tour departing from Badger Square. It is a trekking route along the famous Path of the Gods that moves between the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts. In fact, it connects Bomerano, a hamlet of Agerola, with Nocelle, hamlet of Positano.
To finish, we provide you with a'Ferriere Valley excursion for private groups. The walk is very easy and runs between the towns of Minuta and Pontone. You will see beautiful forests, waterfalls and the remains of the ancient paper mills that produced the famous Amalfi paper. You will also admire the ironworks which in the past procured iron for the Maritime Republic of Amalfi.
