Very interesting, and also suitable for school groups, is the theatrical performance dedicated to Eduardo in Pompeii. The event is titled "E... like Eduardo" and takes place at the Di Costanzo-Mattiello Theater. The show is divided into three acts, and in each one a comedy by the Neapolitan genius is brought to the stage, including Pericolosamente, Il dono di Natale and Amicizia. When it is over, there will also be time for a visit to the Archaeological excavations of Pompeii.
Also not to be missed is this theatricalized performance on Boccaccio's Decameron to the tuff quarries of Canosa and the Lapis Museum in Naples. In these two very special places you will be in the company of thirty other people to learn about the supreme Boccaccio. Along the way there will be many other actors, each of whom will narrate one of the Ten most beautiful novellas of the Decameron. You will see fascinating natural settings and be offered a reinterpretation of Boccaccio's work in a more modern key.
Of an entirely different kind, however, is the theatrical tour at the Bank of Naples Historical Archives with O' Munaciello. Inside this archive is housed the Cartastorie Museum, which collects thousands of documents and texts about the stories and vicissitudes of great Neapolitan characters. Here you will meet the mythical "Munaciello" of the neapolitan legends who will explain all the secrets of such a fascinating place.
To conclude, you can purchase a ticket to a Journey into Dante's Inferno in the basement of the Lapis Museum in Naples. This is a theatricalized performance that brings Dante's Divine Comedy Inferno to the stage. You will see Dante and Virgil in person to journey with them into the "dark forest". Among the infernal boils you will meet all the great personalities who populated this place of perdition.
