A land rich in ancient traditions and legends, Campania offers plenty of territories and natural beauty, where you can enjoy a dreamlike view and go back in time. To live such an experience, it is possible to participate in the Lantern Festival which takes place at Lake Avernus. It is a unique opportunity to explore the wonder of the Phlegrean area and learn more about the culture of this very special place full of mystery.

With Movery, you will have the opportunity to take part in the exciting and evocative Lantern Festival at Lake Avernus which takes participants through the magical world of the janare and fairies that inhabit the lakeshore. The tour will take place in the company of an expert guide from esotericism and astrology who will tell you about the history and ancient rituals that farmers performed during the spring equinox.

Among the various legends you will be told that of the Fairy Morgana that would appear several times on the lake, and you will also be shown the filters and magic potions that local witches prepared at the equinox. Then you will be able to collect herbs to place in your bag and in the witch bottle.

Along the way, each group will be accompanied by a "lantern keeper," who will be handed a colored paper lantern. Upon reaching the forest illuminated by lantern light and LEDs, each keeper will hang his or her lantern from the tree branches.

Another legend will explain the history of the Moon Goddess which during the passing festivals fulfills men's wishes. Each participant will then receive a slip of paper on which to write his or her wish, which will be hung on the chosen lantern among the trees. Meanwhile for the moon to grant the wish, lead casting will take place.

In fact, according to tradition it is possible to ask a question about the future and the form taken by the loose lead will be the answer. In addition, everyone will be able to ask a birth chart question to the astrology and tarot expert. When the experience is over, one will return to the entrance with the ticket and the molten lead form with the hope that the wish has been granted.
