August is almost over and many Italians are ready to return to everyday life, but why not take advantage of these last remnants of summer for a relaxing weekend getaway or a little getaway? Movery therefore thought of 3 mini itineraries in Campania, designed to please the needs of all travelers. Whether you are a nature or art lover, you are sure to find the right experience for you!
Boat tours: sun, sea and pure relaxation
To begin with, we selected some boat excursions to experience over the weekend with friends, colleagues or family. For example, we offer you a Shared evening or sunset boat tour in Naples: private or shared experience. The crossing starts from Borgo Marinari, and then sails in the direction of the Caracciolo waterfront and Cineto Bay. There will also be room for a swim stop in the beautiful waters of the Bay of Naples.
Also spectacular is the Guided boat tour of the Naples coastline which, depending on the option chosen, may be 40 minutes or 3 hours long. Departure is always from Borgo Marinari, and then continue to Castel dell'Ovo, Molo San Vincenzo and other natural pearls.
On the other hand, if you are in the mood for a taste of Neapolitan cuisine, we recommend booking the Boat tour along the coast of Naples with spaghetti on board, perfect for a romantic moment with your sweetheart. During the hike you will see Castel dell'Ovo, the Caracciolo waterfront and Molo San Vincenzo. The experience lasts about 3 1/2 hours, and there will also be a seafood noodle that will make everything even more unforgettable.
Equally interesting is the'boat excursion along the coast of Naples. The first option has a duration of 2 hours to admire the Lungomare Caracciolo, the Mergellina waterfront and Capo Posillipo. The second option, on the other hand, has a duration of 4 hours and you can also admire Marechiaro and Gaiola, and then take a swim in the magnificent Posillipo bays.

Tour through culture and historyto
Those who prefer to spend a day in the pursuit of art and culture can turn to other exclusive activities instead. Run to purchase the entrance ticket to Pompeii with expert tour guide to visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The ticket allows a priority access no lines to admire the remains of ancient Pompeii buried by the eruption of 79 AD.
Absolutely unmissable is also the'Excursion to Pompeii departing from Naples with entrance fee and transfer. You will be picked up in the morning at your hotel in the capital city of Campania or at the port and from there you will be taken to Pompeii for a visit to the excavations. Upon completion of the guided tour you will have some free time to eat or shop before leaving for Naples.
Another must-see place in the area is obviously Herculaneum that you can explore thanks to A private tour at the archaeological excavations. Inside the park it is possible to see villas, domus, baths, and much more of what survived the Vesuvian eruption. Highlights include especially the forum baths, the Samnite House, the Gem House, the House of the Relief of the Telephus, the Villa of the Papyri and the fornices. However, if you are short on time, you can also make a quick trip to the Villa of the Papyri, a building that stood overhanging the sea and owes its name to the papyrus library found in 1750.
If you are then in the Phlegrean area, don't miss a visit to theParco Archeologico di Cuma, whose excavations began continuously in the 19th century. Inside the park you will get to see the forum, the forum baths and the cavern of the Cumana Sibyl. At Campi Flegrei we also suggest you book a Guided tour inside the enchanting Piscina Mirabilis, a site you can find in the municipality of Bacoli. The pool was an ancient drinking water cistern that supplied the Roman fleet and served as a tank for the Augustan aqueduct. Finally, you can explore the Dragonara Cave and the Cumae Necropolis, which can be visited without a reservation.
Trekking in scenic trailsi
Nature and trekking enthusiasts have at their disposal a wide range of nature-themed experiences that will take them through some of Campania's most picturesque corners. You can start with a'Amalfi Coast hike along the Path of the Gods. It is one of the most scenic routes in the region, winding between Agerola and Positano and allows you to admire ancient villages and cliffs overlooking the sea. About 8 km long, it will take 3-4 hours to walk it, so minimal physical fitness is required.
Also interesting is this full day tour in Amalfi Coast which starts in Ravello and will take you to Scala and the Ferriere Valley, with a stop in Positano and lunch at an agritourism in Amalfi. The trail is about 5 miles long and will take you 8 hours. Alternatively, you can opt for a hicking tour at Cape Miseno, ideal for immersing oneself in the most unspoiled nature. Departure is from Bacoli and among holm oaks and Mediterranean scrub you will have the opportunity to observe Mount Procida and the Miseno lighthouse.
Moving further away to the Cilento area you can make a Shared trekking tour on the Calore River which takes place within the Cilento National Park. This is a loop hike along the Calore River that has a length of 6 km and a duration of 4 hours. There will be an elevation gain of about 200 meters and the trail to be walked is of medium difficulty.
In conclusion, don't miss this Group trekking on the Sperlonga trail which starts from Vico Equense, specifically from the Village of San Salvatore, and then reached Sperlonga through a not too challenging 5.5 km route.
